Cemetery Committee News

We are in the process of expanding the Beth El Temple Cemetery by 800 new graves on existing Cemetery land in Avon. The project will require construction and other improvements as necessary to maintain the appearance consistent with the existing cemetery property that will cost approximately $155,000.

The Temple Cemetery Fund has $50,000 available and the Men’s Club very generously donated $5,000 towards the expansion. This leaves us needing $100,000 to complete this project. We wish to borrow $10,000 from 10 members for a period not to exceed 10 years; the loans will pay simple interest. A portion of the price from the sale of each grave is the source of revenue for repayment of the loans.
