As part of our commitment to lifelong learning, Beth El offers the following ongoing programs for adults. These programs are held on a monthly basis on Shabbat mornings; consult the Calendar for program schedules.

Swimming in the Sea of Talmud

The subtleties of words, the fine lines of argument, the clear thinking of rabbis writing centuries ago about subjects still relevant today. Join our rabbis and delve into the mysteries of Talmud.

Torah and Tefillah

Begin the morning with an exploration of this week’s Torah portion and move on from 10:00 AM to noon to a congregant-led service full of singing and participatory, lively davening. We then join with the full congregation for kiddush.

The Shiviti Circle

Connect more deeply with your spiritual self. Rabbi Garber leads Shabbat worshippers in Hebrew chanting and a guided visualization. We will return to the sanctuary in time for the Torah service.
