The Jacob's Ladder Campaign
As you know, dues only cover a portion of our expenses. To meet all of our costs, we rely on additional fundraising. Yet ensuring the viability of this wonderful congregation is a shared responsibility for all, each according to his or her ability to support Beth El. Thus, the Jacob’s Ladder Campaign is an annual fund-raising appeal, combining the Donors Circle and the High Holiday Appeal. Everyone who gives will have a place on Jacob’s Ladder. Members may choose to give at any time during the year or during the High Holiday appeal. All Jacob's Ladder funds benefit the Temple Operating Fund. All donors – at all levels – will be recognized as part of our Jacob’s Ladder campaign.

Establish a Named Endowment Fund
There are a number of ways you can ensure the future well being of Beth El Temple. With the establishment of a named Endowment Fund, you can specify how you would like to see your endowment used or you may allow the Temple to disperse the funds as needed.
You can also make a significant legacy gift through the Endowment Fund in a way that will not affect your finances today. Using vehicles such as a will, trust, insurance policy or retirement plan (401k or others), you can achieve many of your estate planning objectives while you support and provide for the future of Beth El Temple with a:
- New named Fund
- Donation to existing Fund
- Legacy Fund
Contact
If you are considering naming Beth El in your estate plan or establishing a named Endowment Fund, please contact Endowment President, Abbey M. Kreinik at (860) 236-1304 or abbeymk@comcast.net Endowment Fund Officers and Trustees are available to answer your questions, as well.
