Services at Beth El
Beth El holds traditional and non-traditional egalitarian services throughout the year. In addition to weekday, Shabbat and holiday services for the congregation as a whole, we offer a regular schedule of services for pre-school children and school age children.
Weekday Minyan
Morning and evening minyans are held in the Chapel on each weekday, Sunday morning through Friday morning. The morning minyan is held at 7:00 AM Monday through Friday, and at 8:45 AM on Sunday. The evening minyan is held at 7:30 PM Sunday through Thursday. More details...
Friday Evening Services
On Shabbat evening we offer a wide array of services for young and old alike. On many Friday nights we offer two Kabbalat Shabbat services, one at 5:45 PM and one at 7:30 PM. The earlier service includes a full Kabbalat Shabbat recitation and a teaching from one of our rabbis. The later service offers a more cantorial rendition of Kabbalat Shabbat, a sermon from one of our rabbis, and an Oneg Shabbat after the service. More details...
Shabbat Morning Services
In addition to our regular Sanctuary Service on Shabbat morning, we offer babysitting for families with young children, Junior Congregation for 4th-6th grade Religious School students and a program for 1st-3rd grade Religious School students. More details...
High Holiday Services
There is something for everyone during Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur at Beth El. We hold both traditional services in the Sanctuary as well as a second service in Kessler Hall that has a good dose of tradition mixed with a nice dose of contemporary themes. More details...
Festival Services
Our Festival offerings range from the traditional services on Sukkot, Passover and Shavuot, to Sukkah Dinner/Services, Simchat Torah Live! with a band and Hakafot, and even a Tikkun Ley'l Shavuot each year with guest speakers and teachers. In traditional manner, we read from Kohelet at Sukkot, Shir HaShirm at Pesach, and the Book of Ruth at Shavuot. More details...
