Kadima is an international youth organization for Jewish youth in grades 5-8 and is conducted under the auspices of the United Synagogues of Conservative Judaism. Beth El Temple involves Jewish pre-teens in a meaningful relationship with Judaism in a positive environment that is educational, religious and social. We provide our children with social environments where they can make new friends, learn about their Judaism in fun and exciting ways, and learn more about living an ethical Jewish life by participating in various mitzvah projects.
Our local Beth El Kadima chapter members participate in a wide array of programs, trips, and social action and sports activities. We also join other local chapters on several events. On a regional level, Kadima members may attend overnights, dances and other events with other Kadiminiks from throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.
Past Kadima activities have included bowling, Sukkah Hop, Laser Quest, Movie Night, Mini-golf and a day at Six Flags New England, to name a few.
