Michael Moses
Michael Moses comes to Beth El after spending the majority of his career in the newspaper industry, most recently as publisher of a group of newspapers in Rhode Island. As publisher he had complete operational responsibility of a multi-million dollar company with over 200 employees.
He has over 20 years experience in all facets of business including sales, marketing, fundraising, and general operations. As an entrepreneur, he is founder and co-owner of Moses and Moses, a successful General Store in northeastern CT.
Michael has been an active partner with the communities he has served as a Chamber Board member and on several corporate and community advisory boards. He was a leading supporter of charter schools in RI and helped to preserve the charter school system in Woonsocket. While living and working in Massachusetts, he served on the corporate advisory boards for Montserrat College, a private school for the Arts, and Symphony by the Sea, a Marblehead based orchestra. Michael also worked to provide fundraising support for various special education initiatives and social programs throughout RI.
Michael grew up in Manchester, CT attending Temple Beth Shalom where he was Bar Mitzvah. He has roots in the West Hartford area where many family and friends still reside.

Michael and his wife of 19 years, Cheryl (Skydel) Moses, have been together since meeting at a USY event 27 years ago. They cherish everyday with their 6-year-old daughter, Rebekah and their 2 pets, Simba, a playful yellow lab, and Maggie, a very busy little beagle.
