Charter Oak Cooking

Volunteering for the Charter Oak Cultural Center is a wonderful opportunity to make a "hands on" difference to families in need. Once a month Beth El volunteers prepare and serve dinner to about 50 Hartford children who attend after-school programs at the Cultural Center along with their families. Cooking is done in the Beth El kitchen on a Sunday morning. Then, on Monday at the Center, we set up, serve and clean up. Setup is at 4:00 p.m. and serving begins at 5:00 p.m. The Charter Oak Cultural Center is located at 21 Charter Oak Avenue, Hartford, CT.  To become part of this terrific program contact Craig Diamond, craigpdiamond@outlook.com (cooking), and Kerry Rausch, rausch.kerry@gmail.com  (serving).
