"How I Saved A Life": Discussion and CPR Presentation
Please join Beth El Temple Men's Club for a breakfast buffet with Beth El’s own Joshua Rosenfeld and hear his story of how he saved a man's life at an airport in Singapore. Joshua has been a member of Beth El Temple since his family moved to town in 2003, sings in the choir, and serves on the BEMA committee. A 2016 graduate of RPI with a degree in computer science, he works remotely for a software company. Joshua lives in Vernon where he is a member of the Vernon Volunteer Fire Department. Before traveling to Singapore, he joined the department's Emergency Medical Technician class. Since then, he has gone on to complete his state and national EMT certifications.
The program will also include a certified instructor from the American Heart Association who will provide a one-hour session on using hands-only CPR to help save a life before paramedics arrive.
The cost for this program is $10 per person ($5 – Men’s Club Members) and includes breakfast and the CPR presentation. Please RSVP to Jacob Kovel (860-651-9366 or firstname.lastname@example.org) by May 1st.
