We are thrilled to host a weekend with artist, illustrator and graphic designer Hillel Smith! Smith loves to create bold works, whether it's a brochure or a large mural. "When it's warm enough," he says, "You can find me outside with a spray paint can in hand painting murals or a new art piece for a gallery somewhere. Best of all, I teach art and Jewish art history to children and adults, giving them the tools to introduce a little more color into their world."

He loves to share his vision of Jewish art, and we are eager to share a weekend with Smith! We are excited to learn about Hebrew typography and try our hand at our own special works.

Friday, March 29: Hillel spends some time at Solomon Schechter Day School before joining USY for a Shabbat dinner program at 6pm. Register by 3/25 at www.tinyurl.com/whusyshabbat.
