Annual Kol Nidrei Food Drive for Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry at JFS

We need your help now more than ever! This pandemic has taken a toll on so many. Sadly, we still have neighbors in need; but you can help.

Please fill a bag or two (requested items listed below) and simply DRIVE THRU this Tuesday, September 14th, between 10am and 12pm and our volunteers will unload your donations right from your car! We will also accept check donations made out directly to the JFS Food Pantry.

You can also drop them off in the Community Room during business hours between now and Kol Nidrei evening (Wednesday, September 15). Our building will be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30am - 4pm, and on Friday from 8:30am-2:30pm. You can also bring donations to Kol Nidrei services.

All food should be unopened and Kosher (no expired food or Passover items, either). Please look for one of the Hechsher symbols.

Food

• Canned vegetables; canned fruit in juice or light syrup
• Cereal, crackers, cookies, snack bars, granola, breakfast bars
• Pasta, rice, couscous mixes, marinara sauce, macaroni & cheese
• Peanut butter, jams, preserves
• Tuna fish in water, tinned sardines, canned salmon
• Canned soups, salad dressings, mayonnaise & other condiments, cooking oil (small containers, no bulk)

Cleaning/Household Supplies

• Glass cleaner, all-purpose cleaner (Fantastic, 409 etc.) toilet bowl cleaner, bathroom cleaner
• Toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent
• Scrubbing powder, sponges, Brillo, SOS pads

Sorting Food Drive Donations
