Community You Can Believe In

Library

The Beth El Temple Library welcomes readers, researchers and browsers to our non-fiction based collection. You’ll find a variety of Jewish-oriented reading materials for adults and children, including many best sellers. Beth El members can check out books; others are welcome to enjoy reading or researching at a library table or in a comfortable chair.

The library sponsors programs throughout the year which are free and open to the public. A weekly Writing Workshop meets each Monday from 1:30 – 3pm from the end of October through May. All writers are welcome to come and share their work.

Library Hours

The library is open whenever Beth El Temple is open. Please check the calendar for meetings or classes as it will not be available during those times.

How to Check Out a Book

Please use the Sign-out Sheet found on the library desk. You will need to write your name, the title of the book, the Bar Code number and finally, the date checked out. Books are due four weeks from check-out.

Ways to Support the Library

Funding for the library collection and library operations comes from donations. Please consider supporting the new Beth El library through one of these two funds:

Library Fund: Donations to this fund support both the library collection and the library’s operations.

Sylvia Clark Solomon Memorial Library Endowment Fund: Proceeds from this endowment fund are used to purchase books.

We are currently not accepting donations of books and other materials.
