Women's Network
Welcome to the way the women of our synagogue connect with each other, the temple and our Jewish way of life. Whether it's a speaker, book drive, meal-and-chat in the sukkah, or a class about women's midrashim, you're always welcome. We aim to present programs that will enhance your personal growth, Jewish involvement and feeling of community.
What we do
We support the temple's work in many ways, coordinating bima decorations for holidays, bima decorative baskets for bar/bat mitzvah services, Yom Kippur break-fast snacks, the synagogue gift shop and more. We enjoy connecting with all women at Beth El and other local synagogues. We also enjoy building relationships with all Beth El members by co-sponsoring programs with organizations like Men's Club and the Israel Engagement Committee.
Torah Fund: Supporting Conservative Judaism
Women’s Network is proud to help Conservative Judaism both here at home and abroad through the Torah Fund. Your Torah Fund gift supports the Jewish Theological Seminary and its agencies. Those who donate $180 or more will receive this year's special pin which says Chazak v’Ematz, which means "Be Strong and Courageous." (pictured at left).
