Let Beth El be your special place for special gatherings. Our modern, air-conditioned, Kosher facility can accommodate intimate events and large functions in an array of spacious rooms of all sizes. Our on-site parking and handicapped accessible building make Beth El an ideal destination for lifecycle celebrations and community events.
Function rooms include:
Kessler Hall
Elegant décor welcomes receptions of 250 seated guests including a dance floor. For events not requiring the dance floor, the room comfortably seats 320 for a luncheon or dinner. It can be an auditorium style meeting space for 425.
East Wing
Featuring a full wall of windows on one side of the room, this space seats 220 guests in a bright, airy setting. The room can be subdivided for a smaller function, meeting or class.
Hoffman Hall
Often used for cocktail hours or small dinners, this room has a floor to ceiling view of the ceremonial court and gardens just outside its doors. 150 can be seated for a meal. This is also a comfortable venue for cocktail parties up to 185 (when seating is not required for everyone). Doors open to the ceremonial court which is available for use in the warm weather months.
Community Room
A fireplace makes this room an intimate space for events of up to 100 guests seated for a meal or 130 for a meeting or reception.
Sanctuary
Our Sanctuary seats 590 and is available from time to time to community organizations for a lecture or other public program.
Chapel
Our Chapel offers an intimate setting for a small wedding or other life cycle event, seating up to 125.

Professor Pamela Nadell will celebrate Women’s History Month with us and share insights from her recent book, "America’s Jewish Women: A History from Colonial Times to Today," which won the 2019 National Jewish Book Award—Everett Family Foundation Jewish Book of the Year. Weaving together stories from the colonial era to the present, Nadell shows two threads binding the nation's Jewish women: a strong sense of self and a resolute commitment to making the world a better place. Nadell holds the Patrick Clendenen Chair in Women's and Gender History at American University where she directs the Jewish Studies Program and received the university's highest award, Scholar/Teacher of the Year.
