Get Involved
We read in Pirkei Avot (Ethics of our Ancestors): “don’t separate yourself from the community.”
It is something we at Beth El take very seriously. As a large synagogue, we are able to offer many opportunities to meet people, make friends, get involved, give back.
Our Music and Arts program is unparalleled; few synagogues nationwide offer this level of professionalism. Our Men’s Club, Women’s Network and Chai Society keep you busy learning, doing, laughing and, of course, eating. Our kids are discovering Jewish essentials by exploring, celebrating, having fun and giving back.
Check out the links below, connect with the liaison, and become part of our Community You Can Believe In.

Virtual Tour of Mishkan Museum in Afula, Israel
Monday, Mar 16th 7:00p to 8:00p
Join the Israel Engagement Committee for an introduction to the Mishkan Museum of Art, Ein Harod. Founded in 1937, the brainchild of Israeli artist and kibbutz member Haim Atar, the Mishkan was established in the heart of the kibbutz community. Its founders believed that art, culture, knowledge, and understanding were essential. Today, the Mishkan is a respected museum and leading cultural center for local, national, and international artists. The museum houses a large collection of Jewish art from the late 19th and early 20th century and boasts an extensive collection of Judaica and Israeli art. Its structure has inspired some of the 20th century’s most iconic buildings. In this virtual tour we will explore the Mishkan’s current exhibit “TISH - Shabbat Tablescapes” with Judaica curator Dvora Liss and discover its relevance to the challenging times we are living in. We will also be joined by senior educator Tanya Fredman who will take us behind the scenes in the educational and communal programs for all ages which provide resilience and hope to Israeli society.
