Craft Gallery
New managers Lonni and Rivka welcome you to the Craft Gallery!
In our shop you'll find...
- items for Rosh Hashanah -- apple and honey dishes, challah boards and challah covers, kiddush cups, candles and candlesticks
- tallitot and kippot for your child's bar or bat mitzvah
- menorahs and seder plates for holidays later in the Jewish year
- mezuzot, jewelry, books and toys for any occasion
Lonni and Rivka love helping shoppers find just the right item, whether it's for your home or a gift for family or friends. Rivka specializes in Judaica, having previously owned the Judaica Shop in West Hartford's Bishop's Corner.
The Craft Gallery will be open 9-11:30am on Sundays when SULAM (Beth El's religious education program) is in session. All proceeds benefit Beth El Temple.
For an appointment at other times, please contact the Beth El office at (860) 233-9696 and we can connect you with Lonni and Rivka.
If you think you would like to volunteer in the Craft Gallery, please contact the Beth El office!

Proceeds from this Women’s Network-sponsored shop support the Beth El community, including B’nai Mitzvah kiddush cups, new member welcome baskets, and havdallah candles used by our religious education students.
Our Craft Gallery is open on Sunday mornings when SULAM is in session. To arrange a personal visit, contact the Beth El office at (860) 233-9696 and let us know you would like to talk to one of managers!

Thank you, Jill & Shelley!
Jill Jones and Shelley Barker did an awesome job managing Beth El's beautiful Craft Gallery for more than a dozen years, with Jill's tenure going back even further! They are now enjoying a well-deserved retirement from this labor of love.
The Craft Gallery is an exceptional asset for Beth El and all proceeds from sales, amounting to thousands of dollars each year, are used by Women’s Network to benefit our entire congregation by funding engaging adult programming, off-site learning experiences for our teens and specific synagogue needs that come up from time to time.
Please join us in expressing our immense gratitude to Jill and Shelley for their passionate dedication and untold hours of service over the past many years! Also, please welcome Lonni and Rivka as they begin to guide this valuable gem forward into the future!

Annual Turkey Drive for JFS
Sunday, Nov 23rd 9:00a to 12:00p
The need for turkey donations is great this year, as there are so many in our community who risk going without a holiday meal. Thanks to your generosity last year, we were able to feed all of the JFS families! This year we know we need 300+ frozen turkeys to feed the Greater Hartford families who need our help. Please bring your frozen turkeys (preferably kosher), pop your trunks and one of our volunteers will be there to assist you. If you cannot bring a turkey, a cash or check donation (made payable to Jewish Family Services with "food pantry" in the memo line) is also very much appreciated. This event will take place rain or shine! -
