6:00 PM - 8:00 PMBeth El Temple, 2626 Albany Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117Women's Network and the Mandell JCC Jewish Book Festival are excited to host local cookbook author Terry Walters in the Beth El sukkah for a conversation about her most recent cookbook, Nourish: Plant-based Recipes to Feed Body Mind and Soul. Winner of the 2023 Nautilus Silver Book Award, it features 200 all-new plant-based recipes, a DIY section on fermented foods for gut health, beautiful photography and original artwork. There is abundant information on healthy cooking techniques and tips and a deep dive into individual ingredients and tools.
Registrants will be entered to win a copy of her cookbook!
Walters is the author of other books, including Eat Clean Live Well, Clean Start, and Clean Food, winning Nautilus Silver or Gold Book Awards for two of these, a couple of 2011 Gourmand World Cookbook Awards for one of them, and being a James Beard Foundation Award Finalist. According to Walters: "Eating clean and living well are not about doing it all or living up to somebody else's standards, but rather are about enriching your life with the activities and rituals that nourish you, your family, your community and your environment."
Terry has given us an exclusive 10% discount on her book, and that information will be in your registration confirmation! She'll sign your book as well!
We hope that you can join us for this great conversation and great company, and of course, delicious snacks (including a few from her cookbook!) and drinks! Register below!
