Sukkah Hop
Sunday, Oct 12th 4:00p to 7:00pEnjoy the sixth day of Sukkot with Beth El Families and participate in the mitzvah of eating in Sukkah. We will be hosted at various Sukkot. Free and open to all, but only to those who RSVP by Tuesday, October 7th at noon.

Festival Ma'ariv and Simchat Torah Celebration
Tuesday, Oct 14th 5:30p to 7:00pCome out to celebrate Simchat Torah with singing and dancing. Hear some Torah, dance around, and end with ice cream sweetness. First graders will be presented with their very own Torah.

Distinguished Service Award Banquet
Thursday, Oct 16th 6:00p to 9:00pThe DSA Banquet will be held on Thursday, October 16, from 6pm - 9pm, honoring Robin Santiago and Michael Schenker for their extraordinary service to Beth El Temple, the Greater Hartford Community, and the Jewish Community! Please join us!

Friday, Nov 21st 5:30p to 7:00pShababa is a fun, engaging “service” for our youngest generation. All children ~8 and under (and their siblings, parents, and grandparents) are welcome to experience the joy of Shabbat with dancing, singing, stories, prayers and children's dinner. RSVP today! Sponsorship opportunities are available – for just $50 you can celebrate a child’s birthday by sponsoring a Shababa. Who Wants S'more Havdallah
Motzei Shabbat, Dec 13th 6:00p to 7:00pFamilies with children ages 0-18 are invited to join us for Havdallah, a campfire, s'mores and singing! We hope you will join us as we mark the transition from Shabbat into the rest of the week. Please RSVP by Tuesday, December 9th at noon.

Havdallah and a Movie Night
Motzei Shabbat, Jan 10th 6:00p to 8:00pGlow stick havdallah? Pizza bagels and popcorn? Movie with your Beth El friends? What more could you want! Join us as we say goodbye to Shabbat and welcome the new week with a light-filled musical havdallah, dinner, and a movie. This event is geared to families with children ages 13 and under; all are welcome! Details and registration to come.

Temple Trivia Throwdown
Motzei Shabbat, Jan 24th 8:00p to 11:00pJoin us Saturday, January 24th for TEMPLE TRIVIA THROWDOWN! Featuring Rob Guilmette, professional trivia master and DJ! Beth El members are welcome to invite non-members to join their teams. Tickets are $25 per person and include beer, wine and other drinks, snacks and desserts, and live entertainment. To secure your seat with early-bird pricing of $25/person, register online by January 9th at midnight.

World Wide Wrap & Morning Minyan
Sunday, Feb 8th 9:00a to 11:30aWe invite you to join us for the mitzvah of wrapping tefillin in a special minyan service celebrating the World Wide Wrap with our Men's Club! 3rd – 7th graders will be invited to make their own set of tefillin thanks to Men's Club as part of the Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs's (FJMC) "Build a Pair" program.

Sunday, Oct 12th 7:00p to Monday, Oct 13th 9:00a
Calling all 3rd - 6th graders to join us for a sleepover in the Sukkah! Although we will be sleeping indoors, we will spend time in the Sukkah and have fun bonding as a group. The cost is $20 which includes dinner on Sunday night and breakfast on Monday morning plus snacks. Interested students in High School are welcome to also sign up and can help lead the special programming. Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, a change of clothes, and any else you need for the overnight. Open to the community.
