Mitzvah Day!

Sunday, January 15, 2023 22 Tevet 5783

10:30 AM - 1:00 PMBeth El Temple, 2626 Albany Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117

Beth El Temple and JTConnect are teaming up for a meaningful Mitzvah Day for all ages in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend.

We’ll start the day with an opportunity to learn about Jews and the Civil Rights Movement, including a conversation with local Civil Rights activist Bob Fishman and the viewing of a brief documentary for teens and adults, and stories for kids. Then, people of all ages will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of hands-on projects taking place throughout Beth El, from cooking to creating care packages and more. Pizza lunch will be served! Join us, and help make a difference in our community!

Thank you to Beth El Men’s Club for co-sponsoring Mitzvah Day!

Questions? Please reach out to us at info@bethelwh.org and we can connect you with co-chairs Marci Alter and Ronit Shoham.
