October 7th: Marking One Year with the Greater Hartford Community

7:00 PM - 9:00 PMBeth El Temple, 2626 Albany Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117One year after the tragedy of October 7th, the Greater Hartford Jewish Community will come together as one community to remember those who have fallen, to honor the first responders and IDF soldiers that are still risking their lives on the front lines, and to stand in solidarity with our brothers & sisters in Israel!
Full schedule for this Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford program:
5pm: Family Programming
6pm: Doors Open for Main Program
7-8:15 pm: Ceremony
While the memorial is open to all in the community, some of the material presented may be emotional for young children.
To ensure everyone’s security, all attendees must pre-register. Please be prepared to show photo ID upon arrival, that matches your registration. If possible, please plan to arrive early to help facilitate a speedy check-in process.

Dr. Eliyahu Krigel and SULAM Music Educator Elana Hoffman lead this meaningful service focused on Tefillah (prayer), Tzedakah (sacred giving), and Teshuvah (returning to our best selves). We'll weave together prayers, stories, and discussions in order to bring spiritual sustenance to all of us in this time of renewal. -
