On Sunday, November 3rd, we will create beautiful covers for the children to use on their siddurim. This is a special Beth El and family tradition. We’ve seen Jewish stars, hearts, Torahs, and of course, Hebrew names. We will be on hand to help you with lots of cool art supplies, Hebrew stencils, and more. It’s not just an art project; it truly is a milestone in your child’s Jewish journey. And enhancing what we use ritually, the mitzvah of hiddur mitzvah, beautifying our observance, is one that we hope to instill in our children as they embrace the joy of Judaism.

Each child will be presented with a siddur (prayerbook) at a special ceremony in February.
