Frequently Asked Questions for Beth El's Spring Event

What COVID protocols do you have in place?

Masks will be optional during the program and will be available if needed. Reserved seating will be provided. For additional Covid protocols, please click here.

Can I purchase my tickets at the door?

Although you may purchase tickets at the door to the main program and dessert reception that starts at 7:00pm, please reserve your tickets in advance. For security purposes, we need to know if you are bringing a guest(s). Please make sure that Judy Rosenthal has the name of your guest in advance of your arrival. Tickets to the dinner before the program must be purchased in advance. Cash, personal checks will be accepted. Members can bill their account.

What type of parking is available?

LAZ parking is graciously donating valet parking for the event. Anyone requiring handicap parking is encouraged to use the valet parking. You are also able to park yourself.

Are there hearing devices for those requiring hearing headphones?

Yes, please make a reservation in advance by emailing Judy Rosenthal at judithRrosenthal@gmail.com or calling (860) 232-9355 or the Beth El Temple office at (860) 233-9696 no later than Thursday, June 2.

Will there be security at the event?

Yes, there will be a security guard and the West Hartford police on site for the entire event.

What time does the pre-event cocktail and dinner reception start?

For those sponsors and special guests attending the pre-event festivities, cocktails and dinner begin promptly at 5:30pm. Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar will be presenting some words of happiness.

What time does the main event start?

The program begins promptly at 7:00pm sharp. Doors will open at 6:45pm. Ushers will be available to help you to your assigned seats. If you have any questions for Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar, please email Judy Rosenthal at judithrrosenthal@gmail.com.

What dietary options will be available at the dessert reception?

For those with dietary restrictions, there will be gluten free, dairy free, sugar free and nut free options.
