Sunday, April 14, 2024 • 6 Nisan 5784
7:00 PM - 9:00 PMBeth El Temple, 2626 Albany Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117We are thrilled to announce the much-anticipated grand finale of our esteemed concert series: THE FINALE
This extraordinary event promises to be an unforgettable evening featuring renowned Cantor Daniel Mendelson, Beethoven's dramatic "Third Piano Concerto", and the captivating "Violin Rhapsody" by Bartók.
Under the baton of the esteemed Cantor Joseph Ness, our 33-year series of concerts has brought together exceptional talent, mesmerizing audiences with the beauty and power of all genres of music and fostered a deep appreciation for the arts within our community.
"THE FINALE" will be a celebration of the incredible journey we have embarked upon together. Accompanied by a full orchestra, Cantor Daniel Mendelson will enchant the audience
with his transcendent voice, presenting a repertoire that spans centuries, showcasing the diversity and richness of Jewish musical traditions.
The program will reach a dramatic pinnacle with Ludwig Van Beethoven's "Plano Concerto No. 3 in C Minor". This masterpiece, which is both representative of Beethoven’s mature style and for pushing the technical limits of the piano itself, will display our exceptional piano soloist Kamilla Mammedova. Plus, the thrilling talents of our world-class violinist Katie Lansdale will be showcased in a performance of the virtuosic and vibrant "Violin Rhapsodies, 1 and 2" by Béla Bartók.
As we bid farewell to this remarkable concert series, we extend our deepest gratitude to Cantor Joseph Ness and the entire BEMA team for their unwavering dedication and commitment to excellence. Their vision and leadership have allowed us to experience the transformative power of music, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Please join us for this momentous occasion on Sunday, April 14th at Beth El Temple. "THE FINALE" promises to be an extraordinary musical experience, as we come together one final time to celebrate the culmination of years of musical brilliance.
