We are excited to offer an Adult B'nei Mitzvah Program for 2025-2026. We invite you join this cohort for weekly classes, one-on-one and small group learning, and monthly Shabbat learner's services, culminating in a joyous Shabbat morning celebration in November or December of 2026.

From November 2025 through December 2026, we will take a deep dive into the Tanakh and other sacred Jewish texts, Jewish holidays, the meaning of our prayers, and more. Plus, learn to read Hebrew, chant Torah, lead parts of the Shabbat morning service, and give a D'var Torah.

FIRST TERM
Tuesday nights from 6-7:45pm, November 4-December 23, in person only

6:00-6:45pm: Exploring the Jewish Library: A Deep Dive into the Tanakh and other sacred Jewish texts and how they relate to each other, taught by Rabbi Rosen, Dr. Krigel, and Rabbi Zerin

7:00-7:45pm: Learn to Read Hebrew! Lois Koteen teaches this prayer-based Hebrew reading crash course intended for those who can recognize the shapes and sounds of Hebrew letters and want to learn or improve upon their ability to read Hebrew.
