Annual Turkey Drive for JFS
Sunday, Nov 23rd 9:00a to 12:00p
The need for turkey donations is great this year, as there are so many in our community who risk going without a holiday meal. Thanks to your generosity last year, we were able to feed all of the JFS families! This year we know we need 300+ frozen turkeys to feed the Greater Hartford families who need our help. Please bring your frozen turkeys (preferably kosher), pop your trunks and one of our volunteers will be there to assist you. If you cannot bring a turkey, a cash or check donation (made payable to Jewish Family Services with "food pantry" in the memo line) is also very much appreciated. This event will take place rain or shine! -

Reading The Women of the Bible with Rabbi Rachel Zerin
Wednesday, Dec 3rd 6:00p to 7:15p
Join Rabbi Rachel Zerin and Women's Network for an engaging class designed to explore the often-overlooked stories of women in the Hebrew Bible. Together, we’ll uncover their voices, examine their choices, and consider what their lives teach us today. Through discussion, learning, and shared reflection, this class offers a chance to connect more deeply with our tradition—and with one another. Note: Evening minyan begins at 5:30 pm (and please join us if you can!). Class will begin at approximately 6:00pm. -
